Dental care in the United States is delivered mostly by private practices: a general or family dentist who handles exams, cleanings, fillings and crowns, and refers out anything that needs a specialist. Group practices and dental clinics put several dentists, hygienists and sometimes specialists under one roof, often with evening and Saturday hours. Most offices ask new patients for a comprehensive exam with X-rays before routine cleanings, which the American Dental Association recommends every six months. Prices are set by each practice, and most accept dental insurance (PPO plans more widely than HMO ones), CareCredit-style financing or an in-house membership plan for people without coverage. Emergency dental services take same-day patients for toothaches, broken teeth and abscesses, usually at a premium.

I always love coming to this locationβ€”the entire team is wonderful, and the dentist is always great. But I have to give a special shoutout to Latoya! She made today’s visit such an amazing experience for both me and my kids. Latoya had the best energy!! She was full of life, incredibly patient, and made my kids feel completely comfortable, especially my son. She explained everything to me in detail, answered all of my questions, and made what could have been a stressful appointment feel easy and enjoyable. We’ll definitely be requesting Latoya for all of our future visits. She is truly a 10/10, and her positive attitude made all the difference. Thank you for such outstanding care!

I am extremely disappointed with our experience at American Pediatrics. My daughter was only three years old when she had a crown placed on her baby tooth. Since then, we’ve dealt with repeated infections, multiple rounds of antibiotics, and now, at just four years old, we’ve been told the tooth needs to be extracted because of the repeated infections and because the X-ray still shows an active infection. What hurt me the most wasn’t just the treatment recommendation, it was the complete lack of compassion. As a mother, I was devastated to hear that my four year old will have to lose a tooth after everything she’s already been through. Instead of asking how she was doing, showing any concern for the pain she has experienced, or acknowledging how upsetting this was for our family, I felt like my concerns were dismissed. The only response I received was, β€œThese things happen.” The office manager came across as incredibly cold and heartless during one of the most difficult moments for our family. Rather than showing empathy or compassion, I felt like I was treated as if my daughter’s situation was just another routine case. Yes, I understand that complications can happen with any de

I was very disappointed with my experience at this pediatric dental office in Pembroke Pines . A place designed for children should maintain a clean, safe, and professional environment at all times. Unfortunately, there were parents openly smelling strongly of weed in the lobby around other children and families, and the staff did not seem to address it at all. It’s completely unacceptable in a healthcare setting, especially one focused on kids. Parents should not have to worry about exposing their children to that environment while waiting for a dental appointment. You never know what health issues some children may have, and exposing them to strong smoke or odors could be harmful or trigger medical problems. I hope management takes this issue seriously and enforces a more respectful, healthy, and appropriate atmosphere for families.

I am writing to share my appreciation for the wonderful care my daughters received today. Theresa, the dental assistant, and Dr. Gabriella were both fantastic. They treated my daughters like princesses, showing so much patience and care throughout the visit. Despite a busy schedule, they took the time to perform a thorough deep cleaning and even provided the girls with complementary cleaning supplies and samples. Thank you for such a positive experience and keep making the differenceπŸ«‚ Best regards to the entire team.

We’ve been coming to this pediatric dental office for years, and the service is always top tier! The staff is so kind, patient, and amazing with kids they make every visit smooth and stress free. The office is clean, welcoming, and the dentists always take their time to make both kids and parents feel comfortable. My kids actually enjoy coming here!
